Overview
Water You Thinking helps private trip groups plan a Lake Powell houseboat vacation: meals, packing, boat layout, expenses, photos, documents, and directory contacts. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or advertising.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for trip data.
- OpenAI (optional AI features) — when you choose an AI feature and grant the relevant in-app permission, Water You Thinking sends selected data through the planner server to OpenAI so it can answer trip questions, provide voice-chat responses, summarize or index uploaded media/documents, or generate optional trip-content images. The app asks before sharing data for assistant/voice use, media analysis, document analysis, and meal/request image generation. The data sent may include your question, recent assistant chat, profile name, user/profile identifier, trip roster, room assignments, meals, packing/gear requests, claims, expenses, comments, document summaries, uploaded documents, document photos, pasted document text, extracted text, uploaded photos/videos, file names, dates, available photo location metadata, generated summaries/search terms, microphone audio/transcripts for voice chat, and selected meal/request details. We do not send photos, videos, documents, voice input, or trip content to OpenAI automatically when you upload or create them; sharing happens only after the relevant permission prompt is accepted. We do not use OpenAI for advertising or cross-app tracking.
These providers process data under their own terms, security practices, and privacy commitments. We configure them for app functionality, not for ads, and use providers that commit to protecting personal data with safeguards appropriate to the service.
Retention and Deletion
Trip data is kept while your trip account is active. You may request deletion of your account or trip data by contacting support.
Security
We use HTTPS for network communication. Access to trip data is limited to authenticated members of that trip through invite-based access.
Your Choices
- Do not grant optional AI permission if you do not want the app to send selected trip data to OpenAI through the planner server.
- Do not upload photos, videos, or documents you do not want shared with your trip group.
- Contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
